Comments:  "Frida En Terra Rossa" Original Painting: SOLD 8x10 Oil on canvas board Prints Available I enjoyed painting this piece for several reasons, one notably, I'm a Frida fan, but also because I used materials I hadn't used before. I was turned on to this style by talented artist Aaron Westerberg during one of his courses at Los Angeles Figurative Art Academy. I expect to accomplish more paintings soon using this style, as I've always enjoyed glazing color, and this style works great for establishing underpaintings.
